PLEASE NOTE:
The much loved, and highly praised Eureka NoBugZone has been discontinued (sadly!) but there's good news. Canadian brand Treqa has developed a tent that very closely mirrors this one. The Treqa option is very similar in size, construction and materials.
If you've used the Eureka NoBugZone in the past, or have had it recommended to you, we have no hesitation in suggesting the Treqa No Bug Shelter as an equivalent alternative.

I recieved this item in perfect condition the very next day after ordering.
I purchased the NoBugZone knowing that it's availability moving forward would be limited; I've wanted one for a long time so I finally ordered it for backcountry canoe trips - the mosquito season seems to be extending with warming climate and I hate going into my tent at 830pm to wait it out .
It seems to be excellent quality. I made some small Altera to help set it up more easily for one person. I got 7.5' tarp poles and pre measured cord at 5' lengths to measure where to stake out the poles. I replaced the plastic yellow stakes with aluminum ones because im often camping on hard compacted ground.
I like the triple zippers and the internal loop tabs for flexibility.
I haven't set it up without the poles yet but looking forward to it.
We've always suffered through the late spring and early fall to camp with bugs. This year we got out most weekends because of the relief this shelter offered us from flying and crawling insects. It's huge underneath and gives us a place to hide out from weather and bugs. I also use it with a hammock so the triple zippers on the entrances allow just a small opening for the hammock suspension to pass through without letting in bugs. This thing will keep you bug free till august when they're more manageable. It's a little heavy and bulky. Ok for canoe trips but I'm not sure I'd backpack with it - actually, I'm sure I wouldn't.
This thing is bomb proof! Very well built for its weight. I weighed it at just over 4 pounds without the steaks and guy lines. As well as being well built it is very well thought out. Simple yet user friendly. Being a Hammock guy with a dog this thing works perfectly with Hammock setup and keeping the bugs off the dog. Its a tarp to boot. There are to many positives to list. It just works. Worth its weight in gold in the backcountry or even in the backyard. Wont leave home without it ever again.
Cheers, Mike
