Maybe my most used piece of gear

The whisperlite international has been with me on every backcountry trip I have been on since I got it. Where it really showed its value was in high altitude in Peru where I found myself trying to purchase some 'gasolina blanca' before I went out into the mountains. Because my Spanish is horrible I am quite sure I received regular gasoline and the stove still ran fine even high in the mountains where stove performance is supposed to be hindered. This is the perfect all around stove for a lightweight traveler who likes to keep meals simple.
